Our medical mission in Iraq is to provide the best care possible to our patients and the most up-to-date complete information as possible to our clients. Our proven track record in Iraq has resulted in:

• The U.S. Department of Labor using Tangiers International as the primary DBA provider and Third Party Administrator (TPA), where we handle dozens of claims each month.


• The Kurdistan government granting us a special covenant to be the only foreign corporation allowed to carry out medical evacuation services in Kurdistan, a safe region in the northern part of Iraq.

We fly patients to safety from all parts of the country, where they recover from their injuries at our dedicated medical evacuation facility in Kurdistan. Most of our patients are local nationals who have been injured while working for American contractors in Iraq.

At our modern state-of-the-art facility, our medical team is available 24/7, and includes a highly trained group of trauma specialists, cardiologists, nurses, and case managers. We treat everything from minor injuries, such as lacerations and 1st degree burns, to major trauma, including amputations and chest wounds.

During treatment, we update our clients regularly with weekly medical progress reports on the status of each patient. When our patients are released, they are assisted back to their homes - and we issue a final medical report which spans the entire rehabilitation period, and includes the patient’s disability rating and additional information pertaining to the claim.
